Introduction

I am an ardent Mechanical Engineer with keen interest in Automobile Industry in Research and Development field involving CAD and CFD. In the last few months, I have been designing different Automobile parts using design software and also doing CFD simulations of different components using simulation software. Currently, I am pursuing my Post-Graduate degree in Hybrid Electric Vehicle at SKILL-LYNC, and I have specialization in Computer Aided Design field. I have a work experience in Air Conditioner field which involved design of various parts related to Air Conditioners and testing in Laboratories with proper conditions.

Week 5.1 - Mid term project - Solving the steady and unsteady 2D heat conduction problem

Objective:

1. STEADY STATE ANALYSIS:   The Steady State 2-Dimensional Heat Conduction Equation is:   `(partial^2T)/(partialx^2) + (partial^2T)/(partialy^2) = 0`   This equation can be further simplified by applying central diffrencing to both the Spatial Terms as:   `(T_R - 2*T_P + T_L)/(dx^2) + (T_B - 2*T_P +…

Week 7 - Simulation of a 1D Super-sonic nozzle flow simulation using Macormack Method

Objective:

In the above problem we will be dealing with a Convergent Divergent Nozzle. As the flow to the inlet of the nozzle comes from a reservoir whose cross-sectional area is large hence the velocity of the flow is very small so the Mach number is less than 1 which says that the speed is subsonic. Then the flow expands isentropically…
