Creating Bar Bending schedule, Different Door types, and Creation of standard drawing templates using AutoCad
AIM :
To create Creating Bar Bending schedule, Different Door types, and Creation of standard drawing templates using AutoCad
INTRODUCTION :
COMMAND USED:
PROCEDURE :
1. Create the templates as shown in Figures. Take the size of the title block as per industry standards or you can assume it as per the size of the paper. Use text and attributes wherever required. After creating the title block you need to save it as a block with names: Custom1_titleblock and Custom2_titleblock, respectively.
CUSTOM_1 TITLE BLOCK :
Set the size of sheet size rectangle Should be created with the "RECTANGLE" tool with dimensions as been assumed
Here the rectangle was created as A4 sheet with the dimension of 210mm x 297mm.
The table cab be created by using the command of line and rectangle with help by offset and copy command
The other line can be offsetted as per the sheet length and width with the reference of the shown figure. Then the title should be created as attributes by using the command "ATTDEF" after filling the required name as values, then the attribute is allowed to place on the sheet
Then finishing creating all the attributes, it is allowed to be convert into a block by the command "BLOCK", through selecting and the base point of the required object and giving the name for the block as "Custom1_titleblock"
RESULT :
CUSTOM_2 TITLE BLOCK :
The sheet size rectangle Should be created with the "RECTANGLE" tool with dimensions as beem assumed
The same like as Here the rectangle was created as A4 sheet with the dimension of 21Omm x 297mm.
The rectangle should be explode with the "EXPLODE" command before using offset command and then the spacing for the title block is allowed to separate from the bottom outer line of the rectangle with the "OFFSET" tool ,by assuming the distance as per the sheet length and width.
Likewise the other divisions should also be offsetted as per the sheet length and width with the reference of the shown figure.
The other line can be offsetted as per the sheet length and width with the reference of the shown figure. Then the title should be created as attributes by using the command "ATTDEF" after filling the required name as values, then the attribute is allowed to place on the sheet
Then finishing creating all the attributes, it is allowed to be convert into a block by the command "BLOCK", through selecting and the base point of the required object and giving the name for the block as "Custom2_titleblock
RESULT :
2. Create the doors type for warehouse as shown in the Figure. You need to create each door type as per standard size or given dimensions. Create the blocks of this door type after creating them.
STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE :
The door was created by using the line command 'rectangle" command tool with dimensions as @2750,2330.
The inner lines are assumed created by offset command .
The other number of rectangle can be created in inner side with using the copy command for making it multiple the 12 times
The handle of the door was drawn with the line tool by assuming the line length as a reference of shown figure.
And also created the door 2 was by using "rectangle" command tool with dimensions as @2750,2330.
The other lines inside the door are offsetted from the rectangle to inside by assuming the values as per the retference with the shown figure.
The handle of the door was drawn with the line tool by assuming the line length as a reference of shown figure.
RESULT :
3. Create each symbol as a block with the name given in the legend. After creating the blocks arrange them in the legend as shown in the Figure.
STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE :
Here we creating the table as by legend, the table has been created by the command "table" and customising the number of title, header, columns and rows required.
we can creating the 1 number of tile, 1 number of header, 12 number of columns, 8 number of rows are created.
On the top of table we want create header text so we want to MERGED with the merge option getting through by right clicking
after selecting the required rows which has to be merged.
rows and columns can create with help of trim and extend command
Symbol of lengend are then needs to be drawn and converted as a block with the name given in the legend.
finally done the job of creating table after write the text by using text command
RESULT :
4. Create the door type for residential building as a block. Save the name of the blocks as type. Use given dimensions or assume dimensions as per industry standards.
STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE :
A.) D1, D2, D3 :
Named as the door by D1 was created by using "rectangle" tool with dimensions as @2'10",611".
Offsetted other line can be from the rectangle to inside by assuming the values as per the reference with
the shown figure.
line tool can using to draw the line by refernce the kength as be given in the figure
The upper rectangle is then filled with a small square like shape design and it created as one complete shape and then the number of shapes required to fill the upper rectangle inside the D2 was done by the help of the tool called "POLAR by providing number of columns and rows required.
Likewise the lower rectangle created inside the D2 was offsetted by assuming the distance as per the reference of the shown figure.
The handle of the door was drawn with the "CIRCLE" tool by assuming the diameter as reference of shown figure.
The door named as D3 was created by using "rectangle" tool with dimensions as @2'9",6'11". Then the other lines inside the door are offsetted from the rectangle to inside by assuming the values as per the reference with
the shown figure.
Designed front elevation of the D3 door was created by assuming a inner rectangular shape outline with assumed offset distance along with the hatch filling using the "HATCH" command.
the line tool as using to help the door handel by assuming the line length as a reference of shown figure.
B.) D4, D5, D6 :
Designed front elevation of the door was created by assuming a inner rectangular shape outline with assumed offset distance along with the hatch filling using the "HATCH" command.
the line tool as using to help the door handel by assuming the line length as a reference of shown figure.
RESULT :
("A") ("B")
5. Create each shape as a block as shown in the Figure. Save the block and insert them on the table as shown in the Figure.
STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE :
The table can be created using the tabel command given value of how many rows and coloumns
THEY the O number of tile, 1 number of header, 16 number of columns, 10 number of rows are created.
For the SHAPE-SIZE HEADER the three continuous rows of a cells are needs to be MERGED with the merge option getting through by right clicking after selecting the required rows which has to be merged.
SHAPE BLOCKS help to making merge the block be present inside the required cell. Likewise the other header and other cells are needs to be merged to get the cell sizes as per the shown figure.d is
dual clicking the cell for text the given in fig using text command
Need to be created the shape as per the shown figure and converted into blocks. After creating the blocks it should be allowed to arrange inside the table as shown in the Figure for the reference
