To create a Tooling axis we have create a boundary and select a part by using extract command choose the part of the component and create a point on the part of the component then use the boundary command and then using point to point line crate two lines and then create two lines and then bisect each other to create a axis lines .

Then create a axis system and select a axis and then create two lines and bisect each other to create another line .Now select the both lines and then using the tangency with line command and then we get a line which is known as TOOLING AXIS.

Then we create a closed body of the surface and then we select the draft analysis and then select compass option to select the axis into the tooling axis .Now the direction is locked and then we should select the draft angle as 3 degrees and select the direction of the draft angle Then selecting the analysis under the running point and measure the distance and degree to calculate then the draft analysis is performed.
