TOOLING AXIS :To create a tooling axis first extract the surface and create a point on the surface and the distance to the point is 0 and a point is formed and then we create a line along the Z axis and from the point diredtion we get a line which is our tooling axis

DRAFT ANALYSIS

For creating Draft analysis we create locaters and heat stakes on the component and then we union trim with the surface of the component and by selecting the draft analysis command we select the direction command and then insert the tooling axis with the axis system and then perform a draft analysis along the component and then check whether the component can be drafted .

First check the draft along the top surface of the component and by using draft along the point command check the angle under the component and draft analysis is performed.

After performing the draft analysis along the top surface we now perform draft analysis along the bottom surface of the class a surface

selecting the draft analysis command we select the direction command and then insert the tooling axis with the axis system and then perform a draft analysis along the component and then check whether the component can be drafted .

First check the draft along the top surface of the component and by using draft along the point command check the angle under the component and draft analysis is performed.

As we can see from the above images that the component can be drafted along the surfaces .And can be drafted along the tooling axis
