INTRODUCTION:
AutoCAD is a drawing tool, in which we are draw any diagram and modification. The draw tool consists many numbers of drawing tool like line, polyline, circle, rectangle etc. and modify tool consists number of modifications in drawing like create Chamfer, Fillet, Offset, Rotate, Copy, Move, Mirror, Trim etc
Chamfer: it’s a rectangle but corner edge of rectangle cut at an angle is called chamfer. Its also called bevel. Bevel is an angled line which is meets two lines at angle. a sloped transition between two surfaces or adjacent faces on a 3D solid.
Fillet: A fillet or round connects two objects with a tangent arc in 2D, or creates a rounded transition between the adjacent faces of a 3D solid. An inside corner is called a fillet and an outside corner is called a round; you can create both using the FILLET command.

Drafted Geometry in relative rectangle coordinate system in AutoCAD
INTRODUCTION:
The given geometry is to create in AutoCAD by using line command. The dimension of the geometry is given figure. Detailed procedure and final result are given.
PROCEDURE:
1.Selection of modal for drawing
- Open AutoCAD
- Type command STARTUP enter
- Enter new value for startup 1 enter
- Create new file (a dialog box open)
- Go to last icon USE A WIZARD open
- Select ADVANCE SETUP click OK
- Select ARCHITECTURAL, precision 0’-0”>NEXT>NEXT>NEXT> NEXT>FINISH
- UN enter for unit setting
- Select ARCHITECTURAL, precision 0'-0" in type
- Insertion scale select INCHES Click OK
- Set limit LIM enter
- Specify lower left corner 0,0 enter
- Specify upper right corner 50’,50’ enter
- Z enter for zoom
- Zoom for select ALL or A enter

- Created geometry in rectangular coordinate system
- L enter for LINE diagram
- Specify first point 0,0 enter
- Specify next point @-4’, 0enter
- Specify next point @0, 2’8” enter (START POINT)
- Specify next point @-3’, 0 enter
- Specify next point @0, -9’ enter
- Specify next point @3’, 0 enter
- Specify next point @0, -4’6” enter
- Specify next point @4’6”, 0 enter
- Specify next point @0, 1’2” enter
- Specify next point @5’4”, 0enter
- Specify next point @0’, -1’2” enter
- Specify next point @4’6”, 0 enter
- Specify next point @0, 4’6” enter
- Specify next point @3’, 0 enter
- Specify next point @0, 9’ enter

- L enter for new line
- Specify first point pick end point
- Specify next point move cursor down side and track 30 angle 5’ enter Esc
- Now, Polar tracking on from status bar and select 45,90,135….
- L enter for new line
- Specify first point pick start point
- Specify next point move cursor down side and track 45 angle 5’ enter Esc
- MI enter for Mirror the inclined line
- Select object click on line enter
- Specify first point of mirror line click on intersect point
- Specify second point of mirror line click upward (ensure ortho mode on)
- Erase source object click no
- MIRROR repeat for another inclined line
- L enter match the top horizontal line Esc
- TR double enter for trim unnecessary line Esc
- select and delete untrimmed line
- REC enter for RECTANGLE
- specify first corner point 3’2”, -6’2” enter
- specify other corner point @3’, 3’ enter
- RO enter for ROTATE
- select object click on rectangle enter
- specify base point click start point of the rectangle
- specify rotation angle 45 enter Esc


3. Give Dimension of the Geometry
- D enter for dimension style manager
- Select MODIFY
- Open FIT tab
- Change over all scale 30 click OK
- Select SET CURRENT click CLOSE
- DIM enter for measure straight line
- Specify first extension line origin click FIRST POINT
- Specify second extension line origin click SECOND POINT
- Drag anywhere the required location
- Dimension repeated for all object.
RESULT:
Following the above procedure, we got the result of geometry
