11) What is the Analyze toolbar used in Revit? How it is beneficial for design and modeling
ANSWER:
The analyse tab can be used to perform structural analysis of the building it has various options to enable that the analysis process. It having various tab which is used to proper analysis of the project so it’s very beneficial for design and model.
ANALYTICAL MODEL
ANALYTICAL MODEL TOOL: It helps to adjust the analytical model, reset the analytical model, check the member support and consistency check
SPACES AND ZONES: it helps to divide the space and zones
REPORTS AND SCHEDULE: it helps to provide the model report regarding load, pressure, cool and heat, schedule of summarise report
CHECK SYSTEM: It helps to check the system errors
ENERGY OPTIMIZATION: In this tool we can define location and create, generate and optimize the energy
12) What are the links that Revit supports to be linked to the model?
ANSWER : In revit link option is nothing but it helps us to link another revit model to the current model it will pulling the models together to specify the relative locations of individual building, so the link revit helps us to coordinate the different efforts taken by multiple disciplines such as architecture structural and mechanical engineering
For linking any other Revit model, IFC file or CAD, go to insert view and click on particular link option
Link Revit: this will link another Revit file to the current Revit model
Link IFC: this tool is useful to link any IFC file to the current model, that will help to identify for additional design work
Link CAD: this tool will use to link a CAD file. It is similar to the XREF if AutoCAD.
Link Topography: this tool is providing the link of topography to the current model
DWF Markup: this will link markup DWF file to the current Revit model
Coordination Model: this will link the NWD and NWC file to provide the context to Revit model
Manage links: this will provide the option to manage the links like CAD, IFC, DWF, NWD, NWC files.
13) Why do you need the Collaborate tab in Revit? How it supports modeling and its efficiency
ANSWER 13:
Collaborate tool is useful for collaborating between the team members to work simultaneously.
in this view we have various option like collaborate, worksets.
