PROCEDURE:
STEP 1) SELECTION OF DRAWING MODEL
- Open AutoCAD software
- Enter command STARTUP for new drawing
- Enter new value for STARTUP 1
- Create NEW file from quick access menu bar
- Click on IMPERIAL (Start from Scratch dialog box)
- Change the workspace in 3D MODELING from status bar (gear icon)
- Set unit, UN enter for unit command
- Type ARCHITECTURAL, Precision 0’-0” and Insertion Scale INCHES
- Set limit, LIM enter for limit command
- Specify lower left corner 0,0 enter
- Specify upper right corner 100’,100’ enter
- Z enter A enter for zoom ALL

STEP 2) 2D PLAN
- Create the Rectangle of the size 10’9” x 10’9”
- Explode the rectangle by the help of explode command
- 9” Offset for top horizontal line and left vertical line
- Fillet the corners with zero radius or Trim command used
- Create the window with Line and Offset command at given distance
- Create section A and B icon with the help of Line, Circle and Hatch command
- Before provide the text change font style and size from Style Manager
- Multiline Text command to use to specify the name of icon and plan
- Before provide the dimension change the Overall Scale of the dimension and set Primary Unit as Architectural
- DIMLIN command used to show the dimension of the plan

STEP 3) 3D ISOMETERIC VIEW
- Make a copy of plan for 3D drawing
- Top view change as SE ISOMETRIC VIEW
- Visual style change as SHADED WITH EDGES
- Select to ERASE the middle window line and dimension
- Used the BOUNDARY command pick the internal part of the wall to create object type as region
- Extrude the wall height 10’10”
- Window extrude at sill level height 3’4”
- Copy both extruded window from top point and place to the top point of the wall
- Use 3d orbit to view the bottom of copied object, then PRESSPULL the bottom region of the object at 2” outside
- Union command used to unite the wall and window





STEP 4) CREATE WINDOW
- Change the view as TOP view
- Create both sizes of window as given in drawing by using draw, modify and annotation tool
- Make a copy of these window for 3D view and delete the dimension
- Change the view by using 3D orbit command
- PRESSPULL command used to provide thickness of window frame, panel and glass for both
- MAT enter for Material Browser, select specific material for window like glass, wood, metal
- 3DROTATE used to rotate the window and place at specific required position




STEP 5) 3D VIEW OF PLAN AND ELEVATION
- Open Material Browser by entering command MAT
- Select and choose the specific material for Wall and Floor
- Select and drag the material upon the object for the application
- Used 3DORBIT for the custom view
- For the ELEVATION A select the BACK VIEW from the view control
- Change UCS FACE where the dimension and text required and show the dimension and text
- Similarly for the ELEVATION B select the LEFT VIEW from the view control and Change UCS FACE where the dimension & text required and show the dimension and text
RESULT:

- Create Hatch for wall with pattern ANSI31 and scale 30 command
- For the text, change font style and size from Style Manager
- Multiline Text command to use to specify the name plan
- Before provide the dimension change the Overall Scale of the dimension and set Primary Unit as Architectural
- DIMLIN command used to show the dimension of the plan

STEP 3) 3D VIEW of BUILDING
- Make a copy of plan for 3D drawing
- Top view change as SW ISOMETRIC VIEW
- Visual style change as SHADED WITH EDGES
- Select to ERASE the middle window line, dimension and hatch
- PRESSPULL command used to extrude the wall height 10’11” at positive Z axis
- Window Presspull at sill level height 4’6”
- Copy Presspulled window from top point and place to the top point of the wall
- Use 3d orbit to view the bottom of copied object, then PRESSPULL the bottom region of the object at 2’1” negative Z axis
- UNION command used to unite the wall and window
- COPY the 3D view of building for the FIRST FLOOR
- Change view as isometric
- Presspull the building from the top in negative z direction at 1’ height
- Provide appropriate material for wall from material browser
- Change visual style as REALISTIC

STEP 4) CREATE WINDOW
- Change the view as TOP view
- Create the Rectangle of the size 3’ x 4’
- Take offset of the rectangle at 2” distance
- Explode the inner rectangle
- Create a perpendicular line at mid-point of top line
- Take offset 3” inside for each line
- Trim and Erase command used to remove unwanted line
- Multiline Text command to use to specify the name plan
- Create a new dimension for window then modify the Arrowhead and Overall Scale and set Primary Unit as Architectural
- DIMLIN command used to show the dimension of the window plan
- Make a copy of the window for 3D view then delete dimension & text
- Change the view by using 3D orbit command
- PRESSPULL command used to provide thickness of window frame, panel and glass for both
- MAT enter for Material Browser, select specific material for window like glass and wood
- 3DROTATE used to rotate the window and place at specific required position



STEP 5) CREATE THE FLOORS OF THE BUILDING
- Copy the created first floor and place above the ground floor for three time

STEP 6) CREATE THE SECTION A
- 3DPOLY command used to create the frame length 6’5” and width 6’9”
- Create rectangle of the 4”x 9” size
- Move the rectangle below the base point of the frame
- Provide the thickness of the frame by using SWEEP command with path
- Move to place at the top of the building

STEP 7) TEXT AND DIMENSION
- Change UCS face and place towards front of the building
- DIMLINEAR and DIMCONTINUE command used to show the dimension of the elevation
- Multiline text used to provide the text

- Specify next point @1’,0” enter Esc
- Copy line with base point select Array the enter number of array 10
- Place the copied base point at end of the original point
- Select last copied line, pick the end grip then stretch 3’ enter further 4” line create negative Y direction
- Take the offset of the landing line at 4” distance
- Create a temporary line from the base point to the start landing bottom which is touches all the bottom corners
- After that take 6” offset from negative Y direction
- Create a first step with the help of line
- Fillet command used to create corners for the stairs
- Then erase to remove the temporary line
- Before provide the dimension change the Overall Scale of the dimension and set Primary Unit as Architectural
- DIMLIN command used to show the dimension of the plan


STEP 3) 3D STAIRS
- Make a copy of the section of stairs erase the dimensions
- Change the visual style as the shaded
- Presspull command used provide solid at 3’ height in Z direction
- Create a circle at outside of the stairs then Presspull at the height of 3’1” for the balustrade
- Move the balustrade from quadrant point and place to first step of the trade
- Copy the balustrade from the corner point of the trade, select array and enter number of array 10
- Again, copy balustrade from quadrant point and place twice at the landing
- 3DPOLY command used create line at the top of balustrade
- Circle create at 2” diameter the apply sweep command
- Presspull used for handrail which is extend from the balustrade
- Copy all balustrade and handrail of other side
- Apply material for the staircase



RESULT:

4. Create the 3D view of a Wall with spread footing . Create the Door opening only. Assume the size of the parpaet and the coping. See the plans and elevation for the details. Also, create a rendered view of the model with materials as of your choice.

STEP 2) CREATE 2D SECTION OF THE WALL FOOTING
- Start with a rectangle of 300 x630
- Explode the rectangle
- Take offset at distance of 400, 400, 600,50 positive Y direction respectively
- To create the step of footing with help of line, offset, trim and erase command
- Provide appropriate hatch to the footing
- Change font and size of the text
- Multiline text used to provide the text
- change the Overall Scale of the dimension from the dimension style manager
- DIMLIN command used to show the dimension of the plan

STEP 3) 3D VIEW OF THE WALL FOOTING
- Make a copy of the drawn section
- Erase all the text, dimension and hatch
- Change the view as SW ISOMETRIC
- Change the visual style as shaded with edges
- Presspull command used to pull the region at 7500 heights
- Change view as the right and place the UCS face on it
- Create rectangle of the 2100 x 900 size on the position of door
- Extrude the rectangle at any height
- Then subtract the rectangle to the wall
- Similarly subtract the chajja

STEP 4) MATRIAL AND RENDRING
- MAT enter for the material browser
- Choose the appropriate material for the wall footing
- Change to the view as top
- Create a surface by entering the command PLANSURF
- In the visualize tab go to CAMERA
- Set the camera with appropriate focus on the object
- Set the lights and sky
- Change the view of camera1 and set the visual style as realistic
- Click on the render to size
- Save the image in folder





RESULT:
