- Select ENGINEERING, precision 0’-0.0” in type
- Insertion scale select INCHES Click OK

- Specify lower left corner 0,0 enter
- Specify upper right corner 100’,100’ enter
- Z enter for zoom
- Zoom for select ALL or A enter
STEP 2) Assigned Layer Property
- RIBBON > LAYER PROPERTIES OPEN
- CREATE NEW LAYER > RENAME LAYER > EXTERNAL WALL, INTERNAL WALL, DOOR, WINDOW, STAIRS, CUPBOARD etc.
- Change colour for different layer
- set as default layer

- Set external wall as current layer
- REC enter for RECTANGLE
- Specify first corner point 0,0 enter

- Select object to offset click on rectangle
- Specify point on side to offset move cursor inside of rectangle Esc

- Through the offset provided thickness of internal wall as 4.5”
- Further provide offset for toilet room
- O enter for OFFSET command
- Specify offset distance 4’6”
- Specify object to offset click on offseted horizontal line

- Again, through the offset provided thickness of internal wall as 4.5”
- TR enter for TRIM the unnecessary line

- Change the layer as stair case
- O enter for OFFSET
- Specify offset distance 2’9” enter
- Select object to offset click on inner left vertical line
- Specify point on side to offset move cursor right-side Esc
- O enter for OFFSET
- Specify offset distance 1’ enter
- Select object to offset click on offseted vertical line
- Specify point on side to offset move cursor right-side
- Specify point on side to offset click & move cursor right-side 8 times
- L enter for LINE
- Specify first point pick mid-point of line 6’
- Specify next point move cursor last line of 6’ mid-point click
- Specify next point move cursor corners of the horizontal and vertical wall and repeat for opposite side
- Now show the direction of staircase, L enter for LINE
- Specify first point & next point click and draw a line as given in figure

STEP 6) Creating of Door
- Change the layer property as a door
- For D1 door width 3’
- L enter for line draw as per given drawing
- C enter for circle
- Specify center point of circle click on created line
- Specify radius of circle 2’10” (2” reduced for door frame) enter
- TR double enter for trim unnecessary circle line
- Now opposite side of room door mirror
- MI enter for MIRROR
- Select object to mirror select door enter
- Specify first point of mirror line click on mid-point
- Specify second point of mirror line move cursor up side enter
- Similarly, for D2 & D3 door created as given width

STEP 7) Creating of Window
- Change the layer as a window
- Draw a line in mid-point by the line command (where the position of window)
- Then offset the line both side 3’
- Erase the middle line
- Finally draw a perpendicular line from the mid-point of offseted line

STEP 8) Creating of Kitchen Slab
- Change the layer as a kitchen slab
- O enter for offset the line for kitchen slab
- Specify offset distance 2’ enter
- Select object to offset click on vertical line
- Specify point on side to offset move cursor left-side
- Similarly, for horizontal line to offset
- TR enter for trim the unnecessary line

STEP 9) Creating of Cupboard
- Change the layer property as cupboard
- REC enter for rectangle to create cupboard
- Specify first corner point click on corner & slightly move cursor
- Specify other corner point @5'8”, 2”
- Cupboard for bedroom#2
- CO enter for copy
- Select object to copy click on rectangle enter
- Specify base point click on corner of the rectangle
- Specify second point move cursor at corner of the bedroom2 Esc

STEP 10) Hatching for Wall
- Change layer as the hatch
- RIBBON>DRAW>HATCH
- HATCH CREATION>SOLID
- Pick internal point click on inside wall enter

STEP 11) Name Specified for Different Room
- Change the layer property as the text
- TE enter for TEXT in command bar
- Specify start point of text click in parking area
- Specify height 6” enter
- Specify rotation angle of text 0 enter
- Type the of name particular area as shown in given drawing
- And repeat for all the area to specify the name

STEP 12) Dimensioning the Plan
- Change the layer as dimension
- D enter for dimension style manager
- Select MODIFY
- Open FIT tab
- Change over all scale 30 click OK
- Open Symbols and Arrows tab
- Select oblique in Arrowheads click OK
- Select SET CURRENT click CLOSE
- DIM enter for measure the plan
- Specify first extension line origin click FIRST POINT
- Specify second extension line origin click SECOND POINT
- Drag anywhere the required location
- Dimension repeated for all object.

2. Sketch the seating plan for an outdoor canopy. Assume the dimensions for the seating. Also, consider the dimensions in mm.

- Similarly fillet opposite side.

STEP 4) Create other Chairs by Array tool
- Ribbon > Modify > Polar Array > select whole chair > enter
- Specify center point of array, click on center point of circle
- Select grip to edit ITEMS
- Enter number of items in array 4 enter, Esc

STEP 5) Give Dimension of the Geometry
- D enter for dimension style manager
- Select MODIFY
- Open FIT tab
- Change over all scale 300 click OK

- Select inner circle by left click
- Specify dimension line location move cursor outside of the inner circle and click
- Follow same for outer circle
- TEXT enter for name of the geometry
- Specify start point LEFT click

- Type name of the geometry click outside of the text and Esc
RESULT:
Following the above procedure, we got the result of geometry

3. Sketch the part plan for the toilers and utilities room. Consider the outer wall thickness as 300mm and inner wall thickness as 150mm. Also, assume the missing dimension, Texts, dimensions, and hatches are only for references. Also, symbols for toilets and w/c are also for references.
