Design a Gun with some Mechanism in any CAD Software

Introduction

In my Project I try to take reference from a leading popular Amgun Called Glock-17. Its also called as the revolutionary Gun because its made of Nylon based polymer. Because of non metallic Gun it have lot of merits than the demerits. Weight reduction and high performance make the Glock iconic.

Using the application “Siemens NX CAD” whole design is done

My Gun have the Total length of 191mm, Total height of 146.6mm and width of 32mm which are in the limit of design criteria.

The gun is of the combination of different components such as Frame, Slider, Trigger, Magazine, Cartilage.

Frame is the fixed part and all other parts are assembled using certain assembly constrain. The mechanism of the gun is obtained by giving some Distance constrain.

Conclusion

We know nothing is perfect in real world, However it is perfect there is still some thing to improve . Before when I get the topic this was my first gun experience and with limited resource I believe that I can bring a better outcome of my Project. By the Project I knew more about Guns and different engineering wounders behind the Gun. Clearly I can say that gun is an rare art of engineering.
