    1.AIM:-To create a 3D furniture element along with suitable dimensions with the use of AutoCAD 2022

    INTRODUCTION:- 3D furniture elements are created by a set of commands such as line,offset,extrude etc

    PROCEDURE:-

    • Open the AutoCAD 2022 application software
    • Type a command QNEW to save the file
    • Type a command units
    • Select Architectural in type,0'-0" in precision and scale inserted comment to inches. Press OK

    • Go to workspace switching and select 3D modeling
    • Type a command line
    • Specify first point:-1'9",3'-4",0
    • Specify next point:-@0,-3',0
    • Specify next point:-@2',0,0
    • Specify next point:-@0,3',0
    • Specify next point:-@-2',0,0
    • Press Escape
    • Type a command extrude 
    • Specify height along z axis:-2'6"
    • Type a command offset
    • Specify offset distance 2" along Y axis direction
    • Type a command TR
    • Trimmed the unwanted lines
    • Dimensions are been marked by typing a command such as DIMLINEAR

    RESULT:-3D furniture element have been drawn with the use of AutoCAD 2022

    2.AIM:-To create the 3D model for an isolated footing with the use of AutoCAD 2022

    INTRODUCTION:-3D model for an isolated footing created by a set of commands such as line,offset,extrude,region etc

    PROCEDURE:-

    • Open the AutoCAD 2022 application software
    • Type a command QNEW to save the file
    • Type a command units
    • Select Architectural in type,0'-0" in precision and scale inserted comment to inches. Press OK

    • Go to workspace switching and select 3D modeling
    • Type a command rectangle
    • Specify length and width of rectangle:-3' and 3'
    • Type a command EXT
    • Specify height along Z axis:-6"
    • Type a command EXT
    • Specify height along tapered direction :- 2' at 120 degree
    • Type a command rectangle 
    • Specify length and width of rectangle:-1'
    • Move the rectangle to a height of 2' along Z axis

     

    • Type a command 3DFACE
    • Select the corners of the faces of the object
    • Type a command Region
    • Select the regions of the object
    • Type a command HIDE. Hide the objects

    RESULT:-3D model for an isolated footing have been drawn with the use of AutoCAD 2022

    3.AIM:- To create the 3D model of AASTHO type girder with the use of AutoCAD 2022

    INTRODUCTION:-3D model for an AASTHO type girder created by a set of commands such as line,offset,extrude,region etc

    PROCEDURE:-

    • Open the AutoCAD 2022 application software
    • Type a command QNEW to save the file
    • Type a command units
    • Select Architectural in type,0'-0" in precision and scale inserted comment to inches. Press OK

     

    • Go to workspace switching and select 3D modeling
    • Move to XY plane
    • Type a command line
    • Specify first point:-0,0
    • Specify next point:-@1'6",0
    • Specify next point:-@0,8"
    • Specify next point:-@-1'6",0
    • Specify next point:-@0,-8"
    • Type a command Chamfer
    • Specify first and second chamfer distance:-2"
    • Select first and second end point of the line to get the chamfer distance
    • To get 6" width for the next cross section type a command Chamfer
    • Specify first and second chamfer distance:-8"
    • Select first and second end point of the linr to get the chamfer distance
    • To get 1' width for the next cross section type a command chamfer
    • Specify first and second chamfer distance:-4"
    • Select first and second end point of the line to get the chamfer distance
    •  Type a command line
    • Specify first point:-10",3'3"
    • Specify next point:-@0,6"
    • Specify next point:-@1',0
    • Specify next point:-@0,-6"
    • Specify next point:-@-1',0
    • Press Escape
    • Type a command TR.Trimmed the unwanted lines

    • Type a command EXT
    • Specify height of the object along Z axis:-10'

    • Type a command Boundary
    • Select Region
    • Pick internal points to get the required boundary positions
    • Type a command hide and then type a command to RE to regenerate the model

    RESULT:-3D model for an AASTHO type girder have been drawn with the use of AutoCAD 2022

    4.AIM:- To create the 3D model for a drop panel with a column with the use of AutoCAD 2022

    INTRODUCTION:- 3D model for a drop panel with a column created by a set of commands such as line,offset,extrude,region etc

    PROCEDURE:-

    • Open the AutoCAD 2022 application software
    • Type a command QNEW to save the file
    • Type a command units
    • Select Architectural in type,0'-0" in precision and scale inserted comment to inches. Press OK

     

    • Go to workspace switching and select 3D modeling
    • Type a command rectangle
    • Specify length and width of the rectangle:-4'6"
    • Type a command EXTRUDE
    • Specify height of the rectangle along Z axis:-6"
    • Type a command Circle
    • Specify diameter of the circle:-1'6"
    • Type a command EXTRUDE
    • Select tapered portion
    • Specify angle :- -45 degree
    • Specify tapered distance along negative z axis:-11"
    • Press Escape
    • Type a command circle
    • Specify diameter of the circle:-1'6"
    • Type a command EXT
    • Specify height of the circle along z axis:-10'
    • Type  a command UNION
    • Select the two objects i.e. tapered portion and cylindrical portion to get a single entity or union of object
    • Move the object to a required location and move to a specific height along positive z axis direction of 1'6"

    • TYpe a command REGION
    • Select the object
    • Type a command HIDE to hide the objects

    RESULT:-3D model for a drop panel with a column have been drawn with the use of AutoCAD 2022

    5.AIM:-To create 3D model for a wall with the use of AutoCAD 2022

    INTRODUCTION:-3D model for a wall created by a set of commands such as line,offset,extrude,region etc

    PROCEDURE:-

    • Open the AutoCAD 2022 application software
    • Type a command QNEW to save the file
    • Type a command units
    • Select Architectural in type,0'-0" in precision and scale inserted comment to inches. Press OK

    • Go to workspace switching and select 3D modeling
    • Move to XY plane
    • Type a command line
    • Specify first point:-0,0
    • Specify next point:-@3'5",0
    • Specify next point:-@0,7'
    • Specify next point:-@3',0
    • Specify next point:-@0,-7'
    • Specify next point:-@3'7",0
    • Specify next point:-@0,12'6"
    • Specify next point:-@-10',0
    • Press Escape
    • Type a command Chamfer
    • Specify first and second chamfer distance:-2'
    • Select first and second point of the line to get the chamfered distance

    • Type a command EXT
    • Specify height of the object along Z axis:-9"
    • Type a command REGION
    • Select the object
    • Type a command HIDE to hide the objects

    RESULT:-3D model for a wall have been drawn with the use of AutoCAD 2022
