1.AIM:-To create an architectural plan for a given layout of a residential building with a plot size 18.3m*6 m by using software AutoCAD 2022

INTRODUCTION:-Architectural layout for has been created by using a set of commands such as line,offset,trim,extend etc.

PROCEDURE:-

a) SITE LAYOUT

• Open AutoCAD 2022 Application Software
• Type a command QNEW to save the file
• Type a command UNITS
• Select Decimal in type,precision in 0.0 and units to scale inserted content in millimetre

• Limits and limmax command is used
• Zoom command is also used
• Type a command line
• Specify first point:-0,0
• Specify next point:-@6000,0
• Specify next point:-@0,18300
• Specify next point:-@-6000,0
• Specify next point:-@0,-18300
• Press Escape
• Type a command offset
• Specify point on side to offset:- 1000 from the line @6000,0
• Specify point on side to offset:-1000 from the line @0,18300
• Specify point on side to offset:- 1000 from the line @-6000,0
• Specify point on side to offset:-1000 from the line @0,18300
• Press Escape
• Type a commnad Trim.Trimmed the unwanted lines
• Type a command hatch (BH)
• Pick an internal points to get the selected hatched areas or built up area
• Dimensions have been marked by typing a command DIMLIN
• Type a command D or Dimensions

• The given site plan layout has been drawn which is given below as shown in figure:-:

• Press Escape
• Type a command TRim
• Trimmed the unwanted lines
• Type a command offset
• Specify point on side to offset:-2000 horizontally up from the previous offset line 230
• Press Escape
• Type a command offset
• Specify point on side to offset:-230 horizontally up from the previous offset line 2000
• Press Escape
• Type a command offset
• Specify point on side to offset:-1900 vertically left from the previous offset line 230
• Press Escape
• Type a command offset
• Specify point on side to offset:-230 vertically left from the previous offset line 1900
• Press Escape
• Type a command trim.Trimmed the unwanted lines.
• Type a command offset
• Specify point on side to offset:-2580 horizontally up from the previous offset line 230
• Press Escape
• Type a command offset
• Specify point on side to offset:-230 horizontally up from the previous offset line 2580

• Similarly other arrangements are drawn by set of commands such as line,offset etc
• Dimensions are marked by typing a command DIMLIN
• Type a command Layer Properties
• Layer properties are been marked by set of characteristics such as line type,line colour and line weight

• Doors are been drawn by set of commands such as line,offset,circle etc

• Centre table has drawn by set of commands such as ellipse

• Chairs have been created by set of commands such as spline,line,offset etc

• Type a command line

• Specify point on side to offset:-3000 hrizontally up from the line @16300,0
• Specify point on side to offset:-3000 horizontally up from previous offset line 3000
• Press Escape
• Type a command offset
• Specify point on side to offset:-1000 horizontally up from the previous offset line 3000
• Press Escape
• Type a command offset
• Specify point on side to offset:-250 vertically left from the previous line @0,-7000
• Press Escape
• Similarly other arrangements are been drawn by set of commands such as line,offset,trimetc

d) Structural Layout:-

1) Column and beam layout

• Type a command line
• Specify first point:-45611.4,0
• Specify next point:-@4000,0
• Specify next point:-@0,16300
• Specify next point:-@-4000,0
• Specify next point:-@0,-16300
• Type a command offset
• Specify offset distance:-230 for exterior walls
• Type a command offset
• Specify offset distance:-150 for interior walls
• Select the column position based on architectural or structural consideration
• Specify the dimensions based on centre line method
• Dimensions are been marked by typing a commands such as DIMLIN

2) Footing layout:-

• Type a command line
• Specify first point:-58939.7,150
• Specify next point:-@4000,0
• Specify next point:-@0,-16300
• Specify next point:-@-4000,0
• Specify next point:-@0,-16300
• Press Escape
• Specify the footing position based on column positioning
• Specify the dimensions based on centre line method
• Dimensions have been marked by typing a command such as DIMLIN
• Columns are been hatched by typing a command BH or Hatch

RESULTS:-The given architectural plan has been drawn with the use of AutoCAD 2022
