Create the Base Bracket Plastic component through the given Class-A surface.
Solution:
Tooling Axis Direction :
We have decided to take a tooling direction which is perpendicular as shown below :
Now we will create the class B surface as shown below :
We will create the extract as shown below :
Now we will untrim and offset it by 2.5 mm as shown below :
In the same manner we have created offsets of other patches as shown below :
Using trim ,offset and extrapolate we get the following :
Creation of Class C Surface :
Now we will create the class c surface using sweep command as shown below :
After trimming it we get the following :
After using join and close solid body command we get the following :
Now we will create a 4 way locator :
We have given a chamfer and a fillet as shown .
Now we have created a two way locator in between as shown below :
Now we have created heat stakes as shown below ,copied and translated to the given points as shown below :
In this manner we will create 10 heat stakes by copying and shifting them as shown below :
Now we will create holes as shown below :
