Aim :

Follow the Quality Criteria and mesh the following component and assign thickness:

Solution:

Using the surface trim command we have trimmed the component vertically as shown below :

Creating the horizontal trim we get :

Creating new component as shown below which divides the the door into 4 sub components :

Using the defeature command we have removed the fillets as shown below :

Using surface offset we have created a mid surface of this section :

Meshing it gives :

Defeaturing Fillets :

After using the commands such extend and defeature and do the meshing we get the following :

Part 3 :

Creating the midsurface of the base we get :

We will defeature the following ribs :

As you can see they have been defeatured and mid surfaced :

Now the defeaturing has been done :

After midsurfacing and defeaturing we get :
