AIM:- Creating a Floor plan, Footing detail and Isometric view using AutoCad
INTRODUCTION :-
The objective of this assignment is to getting touch with various commands in autoCAD like Polyline, Rectangle , Offset , Move, Copy, and modes like Ortho,Snap etc.
These all commands we uses in all drawaing in this project
1. TO DRAW A CROSS SECTION OF LOAD BEARING WALL OVER SPREAD FOOTING

ANSWER:-
Command used in drawing;
- Line
- OfFset
- Rectangle
- Polyline
- Orthomode
STEP 1 :-
- Give REC command the command line to activate rectangle
- Specify first point at 6,6
- Then give dimensions to rectangle as lenght 0.9 and breadth 0.25 in command line.
- The drawings comes here as below;

- Give another line command in the command line for activating the line and press enter You can use also use POLYLNE instead of line command .
- We use polyline command for this by commanding a PL in command line
- Specify the reference corner as A shows below the figure
- And make sure ORTHOMODE is on for getting exact dimensions.
- From point as A Specify the nest point as (@0.20,0)
- Specify the next point as 0.40 in +y direction
- Specify the next point as 0.05 in +x direction
- Specify the next point as 0.40 in +y direction
- Specify the next point as 0.05 in +x direction
- Specify the next point as 0.60 in +y direction
- Specify the next point as 0.30, 0 in + x direction
- Specify the next point as 0.60 in -y direction
- Specify the next point as 0.05 in+x direction
- Specify the next point as 0.40 in -y direction
- Specify the next point as 0.05 in +x direction
- Specify the next point as 0.40 in -y direction
- The drawing should like that up till now;

- Type the command for OFF in the command line to activate the command offset
- The upper line of 0.30 lenght we should provide offset of 0.05 from outside
- Then side lines is jointed by line command respectively. which are 0.05 in size
- The drawing is as below up till now;

- Type PL in the command POLYLINE to activate the line command
- Specify the point B for the reference
- Specify the point as 1 in + y direction
- Specify the point as 0.30 in +x direction
- Specify the point as 1 in -y direction and press Esc to go out from command .

- Type PL in the command line to activate the POLYGON command
- Specify the point C for the reference
- Specify the point as 0.30 in -X Direction
- Specify the point as 0.05 in same direction i.e -x direction
- Specify the point as 1.15 in same -x direction
- Specify the point as 0.15 oin -y axis direction
- Specify the point as 1.15 + x direction

- Type L in the command LINE to activate the line command
- Specify the point D for the reference
- Specify the point as (@0.30 ,0)
- Specify the point as (@0, 0.15)
- Specify the point as (@0.30 ,0)
- Specify the point as (@0, 0.15)
- Specify the point as (@0.30 ,0)
- Specify the point as (@0, 0.15)
- Specify the point as (@0.30 ,0)

- Type PL in the command POLYLINE to activate the line command
- Specify the point E for the reference
- make sure orthod is ON throughout the procedure of polyline coordinates
- Specify the point as 1 IN +X direction
- Specify the point as 0.60 in -y direction
- Specify the point as 0.95 in - x direction

RESULT:-

2. TO DRAW A CROSS SECTION OF ISOLATED FOOTING

PROCEDURE FOR DRAW A CROSS SECTION OF ISOLATED FOOTING;
Command used in drawing;
- Line
- OFFset
- TRIM
- Rectangle
- Orthomode
- Relative coordinate system
- Draw a line with command "L" and give fist point as 1
- Specify the next point at @ 0,0.15
- Specify the next point at @0.38,0.25
- Specify the next point at @0,1.60
- Specify the next point at @ 0.24,0
- Specify the next point at @0,-1.60
- Specify the next point at @0.38,-0.25
- Specify the next point at @0,-0.15
- Click on CLOSE , so that it closes the figure

- Draw an OFFSET with command at distance of 0.04 from bottom lines to the upwards
- Give command "O" TO OFFSET involk, and give offset of 0.04
- Apply the offset where we need
- With the help of TRIM command ,trim all the unwanted objects
- Extend the lines which requires for the drawing

- Give OFFSET to the top line as 0.2
- Give the command "o" in the command line to involk the OFFSET command, give the offset of 0.20
- Select the the object
- Select multiple option from command line
- And offset the object 9 time as we required

3. TO DRAW A LINE DIAGRAM OF TWO BEDROOM BUILDING

PROCEDURE FOR DRAWING A LINE DIAGRAM OF TWO BEDROOM BUILDING;
Command used in drawing;
- Line
- OfFset
- TRIM
- Orthomode
- Type L in command line to activate the line commnad or we can take it from ribbon also.
- Make sure ortho mode is ON so we can get a better parpendicularity.
- Specify first point at 2,2
- Specify the 3.60 unit in +y direction
- And then specify 8.8 unit in +x direction
- Specify the next point 3.6 in -y direction
- Then click on CLOSE to close the rectangle

- Select OFFSET command from the command line by typing the "O"
- Give offset of 3.60 and enter , then click on the line on the left lenght dimension 3.6 , so we can get a line offset in the rectangle
- Give offset of 4.2 and enter , then click on the line on the right having lenght 4.2 , so we can get line offset in the rectangle
- From the left offset line , by applying a command line go upward 0.90 , 1 in +x direction and 0.90 downwards i.e -y direction

- After that erase middle two offset lines
- Take a line command by typing L in the command line
- Form a line of 1.8 in the middle
- Same procedure is applied for forming a line of 0.9 in the below part of drawing.
- Type O in the command line to involk the OFFSET command
- Give offset of 0.3 units , and click upper line of 1 in the figure to form a offset
- Repeat this procedure for below part also .
- By using command TRIM , trim a line which are nor required in the drawing, we have two , which are trimed in before final drawing.

4. TO DRAW A CROSS SECTION OF LOAD BEARING WALL SHOWING FOUNDATION DETAILS

PROCEDURE:-
Command used in drawing;
- Line
- OfFset
- Polyline
- Orthomode
- Type PL in the command POLYLINE to activate the line command or take from the ribbon
- Specify the First point at (2,2) for the reference
- make sure Orthomode is ON throughout the procedure of polyline coordinates
- Specify the point as 0.45 in +y direction
- Specify the point as 0.15 in + x direction
- Specify the point as 0.40 in+y direction
- Specify the point as 0.05 in +x direction
- Specify the point as 0.30 in +y direction
- Specify the point as 0.05 in +x direction
- Specify the point as 0.60 in +y direction
- Specify the point as 0.05 in +x direction
- Specify the point as 0.30 in +x direction
- Specify the point as 0.05 in +x direction
- Specify the point as 0.60 in - y direction
- Specify the point as 0.05 in +x direction
- Specify the point as 0.30 in -y direction
- Specify the point as 0.05 in +x direction
- Specify the point as 0.40 in -y direction
- Specify the point as 0.15 in +x direction
- Specify the point as 0.45 in -y direction

- After that, Give PL command to command line to involk the polyline command
- From mentioned point "a" take polyline towards + y axis and specify the point 1 in that direction
- Specify the next point 0.30 in +x direction
- And finally take the poly line towards - y direction and specify the point 1
- Make sure in all that polyline process ortho mode is ON.

5. TO DRAW A ISOMETRIC VIEW OF STEPS

commands used;
- isometric plane
- line
- polyline
PROCEDURE OF DRAWING OF ISOMETRIC VIWE OF STEPS IS AS BELOW;
- Type DS in the command line to open the darfting settings
- From that unpick the snap and grid on options
- Click the isometric snap in snap type , this will activate the isometric screen
- Type PL in the command line to activate the polyline command
- Specify the point "a"
- Take isoplane left from the below setting
- Specify the next point 1 cursor towards NW
- Specify the next point 0.15 cursor towards north
- Specify the next point 1 cursor towards SE
- Then click on CLOSE to close points at "a"

- Type PL in the command line to activate the polyline command
- Take a point "b"
- Take isoplane top
- Specify the next point 0.30 in NE direction
- Specify the next point 1 in NW direction
- Specify the next point 0.30 in SW direction

- Type CO in the command line to activate the COPY cammand
- Select the step we drew pervioulsly (obove)
- Select point "a" as a base point for copying.
- Snd placed it to points c, d, e,f ,g respectively.
- The form drawings as as below;

- Type PL in command line to involke the polyline cammand
- Pick isoplane right or left ( not top) to north drawings
- Pick point "g" to south and specify the point 0.15 , press enter and Esc
- Pick point a to NE direction and specify the point 0.30 and press enter and Esc
- Finally take line command to join the base of stair

6. TO DRAW A ISOMETRIC VIEW OF GABLE WALL
commands used;
- isometric plane
- line
- polyline

PROCEDURE FOR HOW TO DRAW A ISOMETRIC VIEW OF GABLE WALL :-
Command used in drawing;
- Line
- Polyline
- Orthomode
- Isoplane
- Type DS in the command line to open the darfting settings
- From that unpick the snap and grid on options
- Click the isometric snap in snap type , this will activate the isometric screen
- Make sure the orthomode is ON
- Type PL in the command line to activate the polyline command
- From isometric drafting select ISOPLANE LEFT
- Specify first point at 2,2
- Specify next point at 0.30 in NW direction
- Specify the next point 1 in north direction
- Specify next point at 0.30 in SE direction
- Then click on close .
- From the first point i.e 2, aagain by using ISOPLANE RIGHT specify the point 1 in NE direction

- Using ISOPLANE RIGHT , take a polyline command draw line upward from point "b"of 2.42 in
- Draw 1 unit in right and again 2.42 in downwards
- By using ISOMETRIC LEFT , draw 0.30 units in NW direction and also draw a line which intersect the top line which is at a distance of 2.42

- Using ISOMETRIC RIGHT command, bu using polylines command , draw 1 unit in the NE direction
- Next take 3 unit in the north direction i.e upward direction

- By using ISOPLANE RIGHT ,draw a 1.5 line by using polyline from first point i.e 2,2 to the middle of the door
- Then extend to upward by 4 units instead 3.25 units from the bottom beacuse 3.25 units is too low to showing the exact figure.

- Now , make ortho off,make lect and right corner join toi the middle imaginary line i.e of 4 unit

- By using the ISOPLANE LEFT , draw two lines of 0.30 in middle and right upper end corner
- Make ORTHO off to join that all the Iso corner to make drawing isometric
