Theory:
The P1 Hybrid Modelling with the electric machine connected directly to the crankshaft is the solution of Honda 1st generation Model that is Integrated Motor Assist Technology. The Electric Motor functions as a generator, during vehicle no staring condition. The motor generates high Torque Since there is no Speed /Torque ratio between the electric machine and crankshaft.
Here I implemented the architecture of Honda Insight Hybrid.
Forward Modelling approach is also known as cause-effect, Engine to wheel or Rear to Front Method.
This approach is based on vehicle dynamics equation and the behaviour of each powertrain components and their reaction.
Driver controller is required to control the vehicle to follow the desired path .the controller is one of the important thing to get energy to drive the vehicle.
I am using Forward Model:
It is known as dynamic simulation.
The details simulation are here. The models & simulations are more realistic due to physical control development.
