Project 1-Meshing of Rear Wheel Holder challenge

AIM: To mesh rear wheel holder

PROCEDURE:

1. Import *.igs model in to the hyperworks and read the model there are no solids and

too many components of geometry errors.

2. Dimension of the thickness i measured at 3 different location which are 0.77, 0.8

and 0.75. Thus considering thickness as 0.8 which is maximum.

3. Use Quick edit tool in the geometry to toggle edges, create or delete free edges as shown in Figure 1 to Figure 2.

4. All the surfae of the geometry is checkup for any errors, used quick edit tools, surface, nodes and lines.

5. Toggle unwanted lines and replace multiple duplicate points and final geometry as shown in Figure 3.

6. Midsurface is extracted and shown in the Figure 4.

7. Correct the Midsurface and remove buttons for better featuring as shown in Figure 5.

8. Trim half the surface and remove in Figure 6.

9. Perform Automesh and use construction line and remesh to edit mesh flow.
