Project-2-Meshing of Door Inner Panel Challenge

AIM:

To mesh the given component following the quality criteria.

Procedure:

1. Import the component iges in the hyperworks desktop and study the geometry.
2. There are various fillets, let delete them using defeaturing. Find and delete the surfaces of length 0.1 to 5 mm fillets in
defeaturing. It says some features cannot be found. Final geometry is as shown.

3. Use surfaces in geometry to create unfilled surfaces. Also, Remove minimum element length surface from the geometry. Finish
the geometry cleanup by following the given instruction of removing certain area.

4. Generate mid-surface extraction auto mode. See the mid surface, delete and create required self generated features. toggle required
edges.

5. Generate Automesh on the surface for the given quality criteria. use cleanup tools, element edit and other option to
clean for the element quality.

Outcome:

Ability to mesh and develop quality flow in the mesh for a plastic component in radioss.
