Week 7- Meshing of Backdoor Challenge

AIM:

To mesh the backdoor geometry of a car

Procedure:
1. Import *.igs model in to hyperworks.
2. Run geometry > autocleanup to fix geometry errors (figure 1)

3. Run midsurface on whole geometry, since its a large geometry mid is not generate at all the places.
4. Set Mesh criteria in quality mesh.
5. Take section of the mid along the x-axis as shown in figure 2.Duplicate the meshes for the original components using reflect.

6. Mesh left out surfaces and make element offset to mid plane figure 3.

7. Hypermesh error for student edition 1000000 nodes
8. Stoped working
