TETRA MESH FOR REAR VIEW MIRROR
AIM: Tetra meshing for the rear view mirror by using ANSA
PROCEDURE:
STEP 1 : Geometry cleanup.
STEP 2 : Defeaturing.
STEP 3 : Ortho Tria Meshing.
STEP 4 : Volume Defining.
STEP 5 : Check for TETCOLLAPSE.

STEP 1:
Geometry cleanup
In this step we need to do geometry cleanup for the given model
Geometrical error's are cleared by using con's release,new face's,applying topo etc
In the above figure it is showing some triple con's error's that we need to fix it by using release cons's and AUTO FIX.
Geometrical Erro's are Fixed
STEP 2:
Defeaturing
Before going to defeaturing give mesh length
MESH MODE>PERIMETER>LENGTH
After assinging the mesh length remove the line's which is less than minimum length .

STEP 3:
MESHING
Before going to mesh assign mesh parameter and quality criteria as shown in figure

After assinging quality criteria and mesh parameter now move to mesh
In mesh there are many type's like mixed,quad,tria,ortho tria etc
Here we are using ortho tria and tria
Ortho tria in Fillet region for better mesh flow
tria in Flat region

STEP 4:
Volume defining
Once mesh is done we need to define the volume under volume mesh>Define>Auto
ANSA will automatically define the volume of all 4 Part's
After define we need to do remesh the volume part's by using Tetra Rapid or tetra FEM, here we are using Tetra Rapid
Tetra meshing ia an unstructured mesh Tetra rapid and Tetra FEM are commonly used mesh in volume mesh
Tetra Rapid: In this type of mesh , this mesh algorithm mesh's volume with tetra element's
Tetra FEM: In this algorithm mesh create a tetra hydral mesh inside the selected volume
This is widely used in structural application's.

STEP 5:
Check for TETCOLLAPSE
After defining the volume under volume mesh we need to check for Tetcollapse error's
If any tetcollapse error's will be their mean's we need to fix those error's by using MV free, Fix quality
RESULT:
All part's of REAR VIEW MIRROR is succesfully meshed as per the given quality criteria.

CONCLUSION:
Tetra mesh is created for the REAR VIEW MIRROR as per the given quality criteria by using ANSA.
