WORKING USING COLLABORATION TOOL
STEP:1
A new architech templete is taken and is saved with the appropriate name say (collb arche)
After saving the sheet grids are prepared in the both directions i.e transfers and longitudinal.
After the creation of grids the co-ordinates are takes for taking co ordinates set co-ordinates option is used in the manage toolbar.
First the top longitudinal grid is selected and the co-oridinates are set to 0’0” then press enter.
After that the transfers grid of the right corner is taken and the co-ordinates are set to 0’0”.
After setting of the co-oridinates the sheet is collaborated using the collebration tool in the collaborate toolbar and the file is saved as central.
Then the file is closed.
A new structural sheet created and it is saved with the name collb str.
Again the grid is created like the grid created in the first sheet.
Then the file is colleberated same as the architech sheet.
In the third step a new archietech sheet is taken.it is saved with the name combined sheet.
In the manage toolbar manage link option is used to add the link of the architech project that was created earlier by browising the file in the foulder.
And then again the structural sheet is also linked to the present project by using the manage link option.
Though both the sheet have the same co-ordenates but the orgin of the both projects are not same for that one sheet is selected and by using move option both the projects are alined at the same orgin point.
The combined sheet is then closed and the some changes are made in the architech sheet and synchronize option is used to modify the changes in the combined project.
Then it is closed and the combined sheet is opened hence the changes made in the architech sheet are updated in the combined sheet.
This is the use of collabartion tool,we can work on the same project with n number of members and the changes are seen in the combined sheet at any time by anyone which helps in modifying the project without any problems.
