    Aim - To define given part as electrical connectors and defining all necessary properties.

    To define all parts as electrical connector, Electrical Part Design Workbench was used.

     

    Connector- 174357-2

     

    To Define Connectors:

    1. Download the Connectors From Tyco Website.
    2. Created an Axis System on the mating face.
    3.  To define its electrical Properties use Define Connector Command > Electrical Device Definition > Electrical Part Design Workbench.
    4. 8 termination Points are Defined.

    Defined as Electrical Connector

                   

    Connector Connection point is Defined using Define Connector Connection point Command           

      

     

     

     

    Connector Cavity/Mounting Clip- 85229-1 

    To Define Cavity:

    1.  Created an Axis System on the mating face.
    2. To define it as cavity, use Define Cavity Command > Electrical Connection Point Definition > Electrical Part Design Workbench.

     

     

     

     

     

    Connector- DT06 – 08SA

    Defined as Electrical Connector
