Steps in Ribs building on Coin Holder Design:
1) Extract the outer base surface of the coin holder.
2) Select the plane using the Axis system and drawn a line of required length for the rib. The formula for height of rib is (5*thickness)
3) Extrude the line with repect to the Tooling Axis. The formula for height of rib is (5*thickness)
4) Give the thickness to the extruded surface of line in the Part Design. The formula for thickness of rib is (0.4*thickness)
5) Then give the draft to the rib. The minimum draft accepted is 0.5mm for the rib.
6) Give the fillet to the rib. Optimal rib fillet radius is 0.25mm and it must not violate 40% thickness requirement.
7) To do the rib root thickness analysis, select the circle command and extract the base, and both edge fillet of the rib.
8) A single rib may get buckled due to the load, so we need to make another rib. To calculate distance between two ribs, the ratio of height/distance between rib should be less than or equal to 3.
