Steps in Core and Cavity Design of Switch Bezel design:
1) Do the draft analysis on the solid model of switch bezel design.
2) Extrapolate class A surface at some extent.
3) Next step is to achieve thickness of solid model. For that purpose unhide solid model and class C surface of switch bezel and trim it off with extrapolated class A surface.
4) Now trim this surface with class B surface to get the surface that is needed to be engraved on the core block and do the draft analysis of this surface.
5) Now draw the rectangular block projection around this surface and make sure that the boundaries of this rectangular block lies within the the surface and then extrude this block and trim it with the surface and close it from upper side.
6) Make this core block a solid block in the part body.
7) Now for the construction of the cavtiy block, select the same rectangular extruded part. Now trim it off with class B surface. Make this block solid too.
8) To get the proper view of the core, cavity and product we can use the "translate command" in the part design.
