Steps in construction of Screw Bosses :
1) Make a sketch of hollow cylinder on the bse of the coin holder. Thickness of the cylinder should be calculated by the formula (0.6*thickness).
2) Pad this cylinder in Part design & give the draft of 0.5 degree.
3) Fillet should be of 0.25 mm.
4) To create the flanges of the boss we need to make two lines bisection each other at 90 degree and passing through centre of the cylinder. Give the draft of 0.5 mm and the fillets of 0.25 mm. The do the union trim with cylinder and remove the unwanted inner portion.
Steps in construction of Doghouse :
1) Make a square on the base of coin holder. Keep one side of the square open and then sweep it in inner direction at 1.5 degree with respect to the tooling axis.
2) Close the upper face of the box. Give the fillet radius of 0.25 mm at the inner side.
3) Make it the solid model in the part design.
4) Give the draft of 0.5 degree on the inner side of the box. To give the draft we need to draw a tooling axis to give the pulling direction in the draft. So select the point on the main tooling axis and draw the line in the Z direction in the direction of the doghouse.
5) For the under cuts we have to follow the standard considerations. The thickness of the cut should be less than 40% of the main wall thickness.
6) The height of the cut should be between 3 to 6 mm. Take the offset of 4 mm of the base surface of coin holder. Then extrude the inner face of the square block and trim it off with this offset surface. Then go in the Part design and split it off from the surare block.
