OBJECTIVE:
ROUTE THE WIRING HARNESS LAYOUT SHOWN BELOW IN THE PICTURE IN ELECTRICAL WORKBENCH.MAKE ASSUMPTIONS FOR HARNESS BUNDLE DIAMETER. USE THE CONNECTORS THAT ARE PROVIDED.
STEPS:
FIRST MAKE THE POINTS FOR THE BUNDLE CONNECTION POINT AND FOR THE CONNECTOR CONNECTION POINT ON BOTH SIDE OF THE PART.
THEN DEFINE THE PART AS CONNECTOR.
AFTER THAT DEFINE THE BUNDLE CONNECTION POINT .
AFTER THAT DEFINE THE CONNECTOR CONNECTION POINT.
IF RQUIRED DEFINE THE CAVITY CONNECTION POINT ALSO.
THEN ADD THE CONNECTOR TO THE CATALOUGE BY USING THE COMMAND STORE DEVICE.
THEN GO THE THE FILE TAB MAKE A NEW PRODUCT.
ADD A NEW PRODUCT
AND ADD ALL THE CONNECTOR IN THE NEW PRODUCT THAT WE HAVE MADE.
THEN AFTER ADDING DEFINE THE GEOMETRICAL BUNDLE IN ELECTRICAL BY USUNG THE COMMAND GEOMETRICAL BUNDLE.
POSITION THE CONNECTORS IN THE REQUIRED POSITIONS .WHERE WE WANT TO PUT THE CONNECTOR. BY USING THE COMMAND SNAP,MOVE, COMPASS, TRANSLATION ROTATION ETC.
THAN GO TO THE MULTI BRANCH TO START THE ROUTING.
AFTER THAT GIVE BRANCH POINT IF NEEDED TO ADD NEW BRANCH TO THE MAIN TRUNK.
AFTER MAKING THE BOTH HARNESS A AND HARNESS B.
HARNESS A:
HARNESS B
MAKE A NEW PRODUCT AND ADD BOTH THE HARNESS IN THAT ONE PRODUCT.
AFTER THAT MATE THE MATING CONNECTOR WITH THE HELP OF SNAP MOVE , ETC AS WE CANNOT GIVE THE CONSTRAINT.
GENERATE CAT.part OF WIRING HARNESS ASSEMBLY AND CHANGE IT IN THE IGS. FORMAT.
