OBJECTIVE :
TO PERFORM DRAFT ANALYSIS FOR THE COMPONENT SWITCH BEVEL AND TO DESIGN CORE AND CAVITY FOR THE PRODUCT WE DESIGNED SWITCH BEZEL .
BEFORE WE DESIGN CORE AND CAVITY WE SHOULD POERFORM DRAFT ANALYSIS FOR THE COMPONENT SWITCH BEZEL .
DRAFT ANALYSIS FOR THE COMPONENT SWITCH BEZEL
FOR THAT FIRST WE SHOULD HAVE TO MAKE THE TOOLING AXIS . TOOLING AXIS IS THE AXIS THROUGHOUT WHICH THE CORE AND CAVITY MOVES (CAVITY IS THE FIXED PART)
DRAFT ANANYSIS FOR THE CLASS A SURFACE
FIRST THE QUESTION ARISES WHY WE HAVE TO PERFORM THE DRAFT ANANYSIS . THE MAIN REASON TO PROVIUDE THE DRAFT ANGLE TO THE PARALLEL SAURFACE TO THE TOOLING DIRECTION IS THAT AFTER THE SOLIDIFICATION OF THE PLASTIC PRODUCT THE SURFACE TRIES TO SHRINKS WITH THE SURFACE PARALLEL TO THE TOOLING AXIS .RESULTS IN THE BAD FINISH OF THE SURFACE .
DRAFT ANANYSIS FOR THE COMPONENT
DESIGNING CORE AND CAVITY FOR THE COMPONENT SITCH BEZEL
(A) FIRST WE HAVE TO DESIGN PARTING SURFACE
PARTING SURFACE : PARTING SURFACE IS THE SURFACE BETWEEN THE CORE AND THE CAVITY .IT SHOULD BE ON THE CLASS B SURFACE BECAUSE IF THE MOLTEN PLASTIC LEAKES DURING THE MOULDING PROCESS IT LEADS TO THE PRODUCTION OF A PLASTIC DEFECTS NAME FLASH . WHICH IS REMOVED WITH THE HELP OF THE HAND TOOL. RESULTIN THE BAD SURFACE . THATS WHY IT SHOULD BE IN THE B SURFACE.
(B) THEN WE DESIGN CORE .
(C) THEN WE WILL DESIGN THE CAVITY .
(D) THIS IS DESIGNED CORE AND THE CAVITY
(E) THEN WE MAKE THE PARTING LINE
