OBJECTIVE:
TO MAKE THE PLASTIC COMPONENT USING THE GIVEN CLASS A SURFACE, MAKE TOOLING AXIS FGOR THE COMPONENT AND THE CLASS A SURFACE AND PERFORM THE DRAFT ANALYSIS ON THE BOTH CLASS A SURFACE AND THE PLASTIC PRODUCT.AND MAKE THE DOGHOUSE WITH THE MASTER SECTION PROVIDED.
GIVEN CLASS A SURFACE.
GIVEN MASTER SECTION.
CREATION OF TOOLING AXIS.
STEPS :
AS WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE TO MAKE DOGHOUSE ON THIS SURFACE AS WE HAVE GIVEN BY A MASTER SECTION AS SHOWN ABOVE.
SO AS WE HAVE TO MAKE DOGHOUSE . SO THEIR WILL BE THE WALLS OF THE DOGHOUSE .
SO WE HAVE TO CLEAR THAT WALLS IN DRAFT ANANLYSIS.
SO FOR THAT WE HAVE EXTRACTED THE CURVES OF THE WALLS FROM THE MASTER SECTION AND BISECTED THE EXTREME CURVES TO GET A LINE AS SHOWN BELOW .
THIS THE TOOLING AXIS THAT WE WANTS TO MAKE .
DRAFT ANALYSIS FOR THE CLASS A SURFACE.
STEPS:
FIRST CLICK ON THE INSERT TAB AND GO THE DRAFT ANALYSIS .
THE CKICK ON THE COMPASS TAB
DRAG THE COMPASS ON THE TOOLING AXIS FROM WHICH WE WANT TO MAKE THE TOOLING AXIS.
LOCK THE COMPASSS ON THE TOOLING AXIS.
NOW CLICK ANYWHERE ON THE SURFACE WHICH WE WANT TO CHECK.
WE GFET THE ANALYSIS AS SHOWN BELOW.
FIRST CHECK THE CLASSS A SURFACE
CHECK IT BY THE BOUNDARY OR JOIN COMMAND. AS SHOWN BELOW .IT LOOKS FINE.
CREATION OF B SURFACE
FIRST MEASURE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE CURVE OF MASTER SECTION. AS SHOWN BELOW.
AS IT IS 2.5MM.
SO WE OFFSET THE CLASS A SURFACE BY 2.5MM INSIDE.
C SURFACE
IT IS MADE BY THE SWEEP COMMAND .
WE CAN MAKE A SURFACE AT A ANGLE OF 90 DEGREE WHICH IS THE PERPENDICULAR SURFACE
AND GIVEN A 3 DEGREE DRAFT TO THE SWEEP SURFACE WHICH IS PARALLELE TO THE TOOLING AXIS .WHICH HOULD BE CLEARED DURING DRAFT ANANLYSIS.
FINAL JOIN
NOW WE HAVE TO JOIN CLASS A ,B AND C SURFACE.AS SHOWN BELOW.
NOW MOVE TO THE PART DESIGN WORKBENCH AND MAKE IT CLOED SURFACE USING THE CLOSED SURFACE COMMAND.
AS SHOWN BELOW.
DRAFT ANALYSIS ON THE FINAL PRODUCT.
CREATION OF B SIDE FEATURE .
DOGHOUSE:
FIRST WE MAKE A PLANE WHERE WE MAKE THE WALLS OF THE DOGHOUSE.
THEN WE EXTRACT THE CURVES FROM THE MASTER SECTION WHICH REPRESENT S THE WALLS OF THE DOGHOUSE.
AFTER EXTRACTING IT MAKE THE LINE ISOLATE AND THEN MAKE IT AS SKETCH. AS SHOWN BELOW.
NOW EXTRUDE THE SKETCH. AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE. AS PER THE DIMENSIONS MEASURED FROM THE MASTER SECTION.
FINAL DOGHOUSE.
AFTER THAT MAKE THE SIDE CORE AXIS.
NOW PERFORM THE DRAFT ANALYSIS ON THE DOGHOUSE WITH RESPECT TO THE SIDE CORE AXIS.
