AUTOMOTIVE BENCHMARKING:

Automotive Benchmarking is the process of analyzing the choices of similar products based on the selection factor and deducing it to final conclusion. It is a process that involves comparing multiple vehicles with specific base characters to find out the best features of every particular vehicle.

It is the first process in the Pre-design and Development Phase.

REQUIREMENT & CONSIDERATIONS:

As per the problem statement given, the requirements and considerations are as follows.

• Minimum a 5 seater, since the family has 5 members.
• The car is comfortable for Highway driving.
• Considerably small considering local commuting in the highly crowded city.
• Budget: 8 Lakhs to 10 Lakhs
• Big Car – as per his interest
