Consider the following operating points of a fuel cell during a short period of operation.
The power at some points are as follows
P1=1V*0A/cm2 =0w/cm2
P2=0.75*0.3= 0.225 w/cm2
P3= 0.6*0.75 =0.45 w/cm2
P4=0.25*1.15 =0.2875
from the above points it is conclude the that power of the fuel cell is oscillating low to high to low form zero current to peak current
The current is changing according to change in load. But the given points is in w/cm2, hence to get the values is in w/cm2, the necessary cells must be connected either in series or parallel.
The point 3w/cm2 is exists at earlier stages of the curve i,e between open circuit loss and rapid drop
The point 27w/cm2 exists at linear drop region
The point 15 w/cmw exists at mass transfer loss due to high current densities.
