Challenge 1 - The challenge is designed by selecting solenoid from electromnagnetic sensor which connected to battery through controlled switch. The electromagnetic sensor is read by translational motion sensor. The position port is connected to the scope to show whether it is moving. if the controlled switch is high, then battery is connected to the solenoid which generated the oscillations, observed in scope.
Challenge -2
Signal builder is used for developing the temperature conditions.
The thermisor sense the temperature. The output of the from the series thermisor and resistor circuit is derived from voltage division rule. The temperature is compared with 27C.
The equation for measuring the temperature is given in discription of model
The switch for the fan is shown as lamp from simulink dashboard.
An extra constant of 273.5C is used for developing the temperature to controlled temperature source.
