Aim:-
1. To clear the geometry errors in the given model.
2. To extract mid-surface, mesh the mid surface and clear the quality issues according to the given quality criteria.
3. To assign material and thickness to the mid surface.
Procedure:-
1. Importing the Model and geometry cleanup:-
1. We input the Model using the Import~Geometry option.

2. After Importing the Model, we see that there are some geometrical issues that need to be cleared before taking the mid surface, we clear these geometry errors using the Toggle edge, Delete surf option in the quick edit.

3. We create necessary surfaces using the Ruled option in the surfaces

2. Extracting Mid surface and Meshing:-
4. After clearing, the geometry errors in the given model, we need to extract the mid surface, for that we use the mid surface option ( using extraction options as offset ).

5. After extracting Mid surface, we Input all the quality criteria as given in the Problem in the criteria file settings of the Preferences tab.

6. After Inputting the quality criteria in the Preferences tab, we mesh the surface using the auto mesh option in the 2D panel with element size as 5 units and mesh type as mixed.
7. After meshing the mid surface, we clear all the quality issues in the model using element cleanup and rebuild mesh option in the 2D panel.
8. We also use cleanup tools in the quality Index option and smooth option to get good smooth mesh flow.
9. After clearing the quality issues, we get a good smooth mesh flow as shown in the figure.

10. Finally, we assign the material and thickness to the given model, we assign thickness of 0.75 mm to the mid surface using Property option, and assign steel as a material.

Conclusion:-
1. We cleared the geometry issues in the given model.
2. We extracted the mid surface using the mid surface option.
3. We meshed the mid surface using the auto mesh option and clear the quality issues in the mesh using Element cleanup, Rebuild mesh options in the 2D panel.
4. We assign the material and thickness to the mid surface.
5. Finally, the thickness assigned to the given model is visualized using the 2D Element representation option under the visualization toolbar.
