Limitations in motion planning developments are slowing down the adoption of autonomous vehicles in the automotive sector. This is partially owing to the fact that the industry lacks engineers with the right set of skills and expertise to work in the field.
This Specialization has 6 courses, each of which will upskill you and inculcate the skills needed to work in the industry. By taking the courses in this specialization, you will get an established understanding of core theoretical concepts and software tools related to motion planning and trajectory generation in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). You will learn about Python and C++ in the programming of motion planning tasks. In addition to this, you will get in-depth exposure to the use of MATLAB and Simulink in the autonomous control of vehicles. You will also briefly be exposed to Robot Operating Systems (ROS).
To scale your understanding of motion planning and trajectory generation at an industry level, this specialization has a set of projects that need you to actively use the software tools learned. You will also get to work with experts in the industry to complete an additional set of projects highly relevant to motion planning in the autonomous driving space. This will have you job ready and at the forefront of overcoming challenges in motion planning developments in the industry.
