AIM

In this project wiring harness for backdoor is done usin CATIA V5

Given Input:

Surface model of Backdoor

Resources:

Necessary Connectors donloaded from www.te.com and other supports used from previous challenges.

Steps involved:

  • All Connectors and supports such as p clamp and firtee clip defined electrically
  • Connector c-dt06-08sa 

  • Connector c-173090-2-a

  • Connector c-1563689-1-b

  • P Clamp

  • Firtree Clip

  • All the Connectors and supports is placed according to concept design using Assembly workbench commands in CATIA V5 using manipulation command

  • using Electrical Harness Assembly workbench bundle lay out is designed

  • Bundle continuity checked found OK

  • protecting covering like corrugated tube is applied

  • In Electrical Heness Flattening workbench Flattened the bundles and represented it on drawing sheet using sketcher workbench
