Week 9 - Project_1 - Door Trim Lower with Engineering Features

AIM :

To create a door trim plastic component with the given A surface and attachements of heat stakes and locators

PROCEDURE:

First create a tooling axis with the reference of A surface

Then create a B surface by offseting the A surface for 2.5 mm

Now create the C surface with a reference of A surface then join the A and C surface together

Then trim the joined surface with B surface now you will get a closed geometry as output

make the closed geometery as solid by using closed surface command

Now sketch the required features like heat stakes, locators and make it as closed body

Then add or union trim created features wuth the main body

finally perform the draft analysis to ensure the draft angle between 0.5 deg to 3 deg.

RESULT:

Thus the door trim plastic component is created and draft analysis is performed
