Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation (Ribs & Screw Boss) - Challenge 1

AIM:

To create ribs and screw boss

procedure:

create a solid body from the class A surface for a thickness of 2.5mm

Now select the positioned sketch and give the reference surface from the component

Then draw the sketches for the ribs snd screw boss as per the design parameters

the height and diameter ratio of screw boss is 3:1

then pad the sketched rib and screw boss after padding we should give draft angle

the minimum draft angle should be 0.5 degree and the thickness of rib should not less than 0.7mm

finally perform the draft analysis to ensure the draft angle for ribs and screw boss.
