Challenge 3-Bumper
AIM:
To create bumper with thickness of 3mm. Bumper class A surface is given. We need to create tooling axis, class B surface, class B surface, closesurface and draft analysis.
CLASS A SURFACE:
The class A surface is used to create bumper with thickness 3mm. This class A surface is given 0mm thickness.
TOOLING AXIS:
The tooling axis is consideration for plastic part and mold part it defines movement of mold part and possibility of plastic part to come out from mold part.
CLASS B SURFACE:
Create class B surface with base of class A surface. Take class A surface 3mm offset.
CLASS C SURFACE:
The class C surface created by use of class A surface edges to create sweep.
CLASS A AND C SURFACE JOIN:
We want to join the class A surface and class B surface by using join tool.
FINAL TRIM:
The final trim for unhide the all surfaces. Make sure all surfaces will interesection to trim.
CLOSESURFACE:
Before doing closesurface make sure the final trim to all edges are closed. And move on to part body. Select the colsesurface tool to create solid part body.
DRAFT ANALYSIS:
The final solid part body has be analysis by useing of draft analysis tool. This draft analysis is helpful to check all area of final solid part body is satisfying the draft angle 3 degrees.
