CHALLENGE 2 - DOOR TRIM-DOG HOUSE
AIM:
Create the door trim with two dog houses. Reference with class A surface thickness 2.5mm and create the final close body and check with draft analysis.
CLASS A SURFACE:
Class A surface is given. want to make sure given class A surface is closed surface check with boundary tool and create the tooling axis and check with draft analysis tool.
TOOLING AXIS:
Want to create tooling axis use of bisecting line. this tooling axis is very helpful to draft analysis.
CLASS B SURFACE:
The given class A surface want to offset 2.5mm to create class B surface.
CLASS C SURFACE:
Class c surface is connecting class A and B surface. So create a boundary on class A surface and create sweep with referance surface in 90 deg. And curve surface will make mistake to currect use spline and multi sections surface tools.
CLASS A AND C SURFACE JOIN:
Class c and A surface will join each other use of join tool.
FINAL TRIM:
The final class A and B and C surfaces un hide and trim unwanted parts.
SOLID PART IN CLOSE SURFACE:
Final trim convert to solid part by using close surface tool.
DOG HOUSE:
Dog house create for first create sketch and that sketch convert in solid part. And outside draft 1.5 deg and inside draft is 0.5 deg and edge fillet inside 1mm outside 3mm.
Dog house hight is 4mm and thickness of dog house wall is 1mm followed by design rules.
FINAL SOLID PART BY CLOSE SURFACE:
Create dog house will assembled with door trim solid part.
DRAFT ANALYSIS:
The final draft analysis with final solid part by using tooling axis.
The dog house for the door trim was created by following the design rules and draft anslysis on the finaly door trim-dog house is successfully done.
