AIM:
Create the component through the given class A surface. First create a tooling axis line , class B surface and create class C surface. Next create two ribs and two screw boss like given sample images in challenge guid.
CLASS A SURFACE:
We have taken given class A surface and the first to make sure given class A surface no gap in between. We want to check it by help of join tool and boundary tool.
TOOLING AXIS:
Tooling axis is created by useing bisecting line. create a two side lines and center point and create a tooling axis line.
CLASS B SURFACE:
Create a class B surface with reference class A surface. By useing offset tool in 2.5mm to create class B surface.
CLASS C SURFACE:
The surface that join the class A surface and class B surface by useing sweep tool.
FINAL TRIM:
The final trim for unhide tha all surface and trim unwanted parts in the final surface.
CLOSESURFACE:
Need to convert final trim surface or door handel to solid part by using of closesurface tool.
RIBS AND SCREW BOSS DESIDN:
Createing ribs and screw boss in final solid part. create point and move to sketch.
Guidlines for rib:
* Draft - 0.5degrees per side minimum.
* Thickness - typically 40% wall thickness.
* Height <5>
* Spacing - 3:1- steel height/width ratio mximum.
* Minimum thickness at tip - 0.75mm.
* Radii - 0.25mm maximum.
* Ribs on opposite side of wall should be offset.
* Ribs should be connected to other structural features wherw possible.
Guidlines for screw boss:
* Draft - 0.5 degrees on the walls of boss.
* Thickness - typically 40%* of the nominal wall at the base.
* Height to diameter ratio - 3:1
* Radii - 0.25mm maximum radii.
DRAFT ANALYSIS:
The final draft analysis is select the closesurface and fix the compass un tooling axis and select draft direction.
The analysis under the running point we can check by draft angle on individual face. This final draft analysis process is very helpful to avoid final product error and avoid matrial and time waste.....
