Week 5 Challenge : Surface wrap on Automotive Assembly

Aim:- To do surface wrap on Automotive Assembly.

Objective:-

1) There are three parts in this problem - Engine , Gearbox , Transmission.

2) Remove the geometrical errors attach all parts and do surface wraping.

Tools used:-

Delete , Faces , Merge , Wrap , classical mesh.

Procedure:-

1) Import Engine part in ANSA.

2) Remove all geometrical errors such as single cons.

3) Delete all unnecessary parts from the component.

4) Fill all the holes.

5) For Gearbox and Transmission , follow above steps.

6) After removing all geometrical errors merge all three parts ,first merge transmission and then gearbox using merge option from files.

7) Now for surface wrapping, go to classical mesh, in elements select wrap option.

8) In wrap option , click on constant length then a box will open.

9) Now click untitled parameters and give target length as 3 as given in problem statement.

10) Then remove all unnecessary PIDs , and click RUN option and surface will be wrapped.
