Note: I'm using ansa's latest version 21.0.1. so i was imported my model as iges and fem (optistruct) by the idea given by my support engineer and upload it in this challenge.
Conclusion:
The given bottle cap model is meshed with given quality criteria using midsurface and assign various thickness among the surfaces.

Week 2 Railwheel and Track
Objective: To perform the static structural analysis on the rail wheel simulation with different bearing loads as 100KN and 500KN. To compare the simulations of two cases of total deformation, von-mises stress, plastic strain. To carry out the user-defined results for both cases. Procedure: Model: Material selection: Open…

Week 2 Bevel Gear Challenge
Objective: To perform the grid dependency test for the bevel gear simulation for the mesh sizes 6, 5, and 4mm. To compare the simulations of all three cases of total deformation, von-mises stress, plastic strain. Theory: Grid dependency test: Grid dependency test is to investigate how the solution depends on the grid size…

Drop test Challenge
Objective: To set up solver input and output requests for the drop test of a smartphone. Procedure: 1. Here we have .K keyword file with only mesh with basic node, element, part keywords only. So we need Set up the solver keywords for the model and give end time for the solver and Give output requests for the graph…

Crash Box Simulation
Objective: To set up solver input and output requests for the Crash box with different thicknesses as1.2mm and 1.5mm and study the behavior of the crash box when crushing on a Rigid wall. Then we need to get the results as follows. -Input .k file and output files (d3plot, glstat, sleout, rcforc) - Animation of the final…
