V-Block Assembly

PROCEDURE REPORT - V Block

  1. Top down approach is followed here.
  2. An assembly design window is opened and a new part is added.
  3. The sketch of a part is created and then the part itself is created using pad, pocket, etc.
  4. The same procedure is followed for all 3 parts.
  5. All 3 parts are individually saved. This can be done using save management also.
  6. Some parts are used twice, so the saved parts are again inserted thus creating a copy to be used.
  7. Using contact, coincidence and offset constraints, all the parts are assembled as per the drawing.
  8. Using ‘Scene’, and exploded view is created and captured.
  9. A drawing of the front, top, isometric and isometric exploded view is created with the BOM.
