Stock Bracket Assembly

PROCEDURE REPORT - Stock Bracket

  1. Top down approach is followed here.
  2. An assembly design window is opened and a new part is added.
  3. The sketch of a part is created and then the part itself is created using pad, pocket, etc.
  4. The same procedure is followed for all 8parts.
  5. All 8 parts are individually saved. This can be done using save management also.
  6. One part is used 4 times, so the saved part is again inserted thus creating copies to be used.
  7. Using contact, coincidence, offset and angle constraints; all the parts are assembled as per the drawing.
  8. Using ‘Scene’, and exploded view is created and captured.
  9. A drawing of the front, top, isometric and isometric exploded view is created with the BOM.
