Skill-Lync
Mechanical engineering is a field that offers a wide range of career opportunities in various industries. Skill-Lync is an online learning platform that provides you with a chance to work on industry-level mechanical engineering projects.
Skill-Lync's mechanical projects are designed to cater to the needs of mechanical engineering students and professionals who have a passion for engineering and want to build a successful career in this field.
From our student’s project, you can get some mechanical engineering project ideas which can be useful for you during your final year. You can also get insights into how our students have solved the problems.
Here are the top 6 mechanical engineering projects that were taken up by our students.
One of our students Dhrumil Bharatkumar Gohil, has successfully completed a project in which he calculated the hill-climbing power of a TATA Ultra Truck. In this project, he determined the minimum length of a flyover and modified the drive cycle for the Driver Glider model using Simulink. He developed a model of the Wide Open Throttle response of a GM EV1 car while comparing original and varied vehicle properties.
Our student, Sidharth Kalra, has successfully designed and performed motion analysis of an IC engine. This project taught him the design and analysis of valve trains for internal combustion engines using software like SolidWorks and ANSYS. He also learnt about engine components, motion analysis, and finite element analysis.
This is one of the projects for mechanical engineering students in Skill-Lync, which was taken up by one of our students, Yeshwanth Nalla. His passion for design engineering has made him build an exciting design for the British Leyland Mini 1000, which is popularly known as Mr.Bean’s car. Using SolidWorks, he designed different parts of the car like chassis, steering, wheels, front and back seat, door, and other rendered images.
One of our students, Prateek K Shrivastava, took up this project and successfully determined teh damping of a vehicle. This project taught him how to determine a corner mass's damping force versus velocity curve in a vehicle using Octave and Excel. He analyzed data from simulations and experiments to design a suitable suspension system for the vehicle. He concluded that there is no irregularity in the damping forces experienced by the corner masses.
Our student, Sourabh Lakhera, analyzed a shell and tube heat exchanger during his course work. This project helped him learn how to analyze the performance of heat exchangers using the Epsilon-NTU method. He estimated the effectiveness and capacity rate ratio and obtained the temperature of cold and hot fluids. After performing several calculations, he determined the Net heat transfer, LMTD of the Heat exchanger.
One of our students, Mohd Zubair Akhtar, has designed and assembled a few BIW components. He studied the design methodology and mechanism that goes under designing and developing an automotive hood to achieve maximum safety for everyone in and around the vehicle.
Skill-Lync is a pioneer in providing online engineering courses for aspiring engineers adworking professionals. Our unique pedagogy will train you to face real time technological challenges and drive you toward a lucrative career.
By taking up our Mechanical PG program you can work in industry level projects and find innovating solutions. Talk to our experts and understand how our students excel in their career after gaining hands-on practice.
