Clips :- It is the one of the important component of the wiring harness which has to define before the routing harness. This is use to give the support the harness .
P Clamp :- It is clip which have the p shape and some time rubber is round around it. For defining the any clip we have to follow some step as follow:-
Step 1 :- Get the 3D clip CAD part from the Internet or make your own clip.
Step 2:- Define the Geometrical parameters.
In it we have place the point and plane which are use to define the electrical parameters .
1. Entry plane & point
2. Base plane
3.Exit Plane & point
Step 3:- Define the part as support :-
Go to the electrical part design and define it as support
Step 4 :-Define the entry point & plane.
Step 5 :- Define base and exit plane & point.
So in this way the clip is define in electrical part design .
BACKSHELL:-
This are plastic molded parts used at the entry side of connectors either for protection or to improve apperance of harness. It not the mandatoryparts of wiring harness are always optional and driven by cost.
Tyco 1738312-1 :-
It is the type of rectangular backshells & clamps it is used as wire to board and at the one side it contains fixing screw.
To define the any type of backshell we have to define some parameters as follow :-
In it we have to define the point at entry point & axis at the connection point.
In this way the Backshell is define in the electrical part design and save it .
Protective covering :- This are used for to protect the wire harness from exess heat , wire cuting by sharp edge etc. It is of many type as :- Corrugated tubes, Convolutes , Sleeves and many other types.
1. 15mm_COT :- It is 12mm Inside diameter and thickness of 1.5mm. we have to make the 3D part of this by using the electrical part design.
Then this to add in the catalogue.
2. 20mm_COT:- It is 17mm Inside diameter and thickness of 1.5mm. we have to make the 3D part of this by using the electrical part design.
Then this to add in the catalogue.
3. 35mm_COT:- It is 32mm Inside diameter and thickness of 1.5mm. we have to make the 3D part of this by using the electrical part design.
Then this to add in the catalogue.
4. 10mm_COT :- It is 7mm Inside diameter and thickness of 1.5mm. we have to make the 3D part of this by using the electrical part design.
Then this to add in the catalogue.
5. 5mm_COT :- It is 3mm Inside diameter and thickness of 1mm. we have to make the 3D part of this by using the electrical part design.
Then this to add in the catalogue.
This is how this Corrugated tubes are made and define in the electrical system.
