Week- 5 - Solid meshing

Aim- to construct a tetra mesh for the Rear view mirror component.

Procedure-

1. check for geometrical issues.

2. Go to mesh-> length and set up length to 1.

3. Set up the mesh parameters and mesh quality criterias.

4. Use spot mesh ortho tria elements to mesh the curved surfaces.

5. Use spot mesh tria elements to mesh the planar surfaces.

6. clear all the quality checks and mesh all the surfaces.

7. Go to V. mesh-> Volumes-> Define.

8. Go to list and remesh unmeshed volumes.

9. Go to V.mesh and select one of the unstructured mesh.(tetra rapid in this case)

10. check for tet collapse and solve them using move command under improve. Do not move the surface nodes in the process.

conclusion- tetramesh mesh with the required quality criteria is achieved.
