2 |
Minimum Length |
0.5 |
3 |
Maximum Length |
2 |
Use tetra elements to mesh the Volumes defined in the model, and check for the below quality after Volume meshing.
S. No |
Quality Criteria |
Value |
1 |
Tet collapse |
0.2 |
Procedure:-
1. Firstly, Import the IGS file.
Given Model:-
2. Now, check the geometrical errors.
Select the geometry.
Now click Execute tab.
Fix all the errors.
If all errors not fix, then topology to the model.
After Topology, all the geometrical errors fix.
If the Status shows in green color, it means all the errors are fix.
3. Now set property to all parts.
Command:- {Topo>>Faces>>Set PID>>select all}
Do same procedure for remaining parts.
Other parts:
4. Set perimeter length and micros, so our meshing is perfect.
Command:-{Mesh>>Perimeter>>length>>select all>>put target element size=1}
5. Mesh all the parts with ortho tria or tria only, and also set quality criteria.
Command:-{Mesh>>Mesh Generation>>spot mesh}
Check fail element. If any, smooth them or move element node.
Command:-{Mesh>>Grids>>MV free}
2D meshing is complete.
6. Now, do tetra mesh for all parts and check tet collapse.
Set new solid property
Command:-{Vmesh>>Define>>manual>>select all>>create new property}
After that, go to the list and remesh the property.
Check tet collapse.
Check the parts for tetra meshing are successfully done or not.
Final Model:-
Conclusion:-
In this challenge, we learn about the volume/solid meshing.
The model with given quality criteria and proper mesh flow are successfully done.
