AIM : To mesh the given component and create proper mesh flow.
OBJECTIVE :
1) To Mesh the given Side Door Panel and create proper Mesh flow.
2) Pass all the Quality Criteria.
3) Assign the Thickness to the Component.
CAD MODEL IMAGE:
PROCEDURE:
1) Import the file named as Side door.stp
2) Using the geometry menu in the menu bar, use the geometry cleanup tools to ensure a fully enclosed volume. Check the topology and verify if we still have free edges.
3) Now divide the side door component 12 components in order to simplify the meshing.
4) Now create the Midsurface of the 12 components.
5) Assign the Material and Thickness to the component.
6) Now create mesh on the 12 components seperately by passing all the quality criteria and no free edges should be there.
7) Now Combine all the 12 Components into single unit and check for quality Criteria as well as free edges.
RESULT:
1) Successfully Meshed the given component with proper mesh flow and passed all the given quality criteria.
2) Successfully assigned the Materail and Thickness to the component.
