Q1) What are HVAC systems? Why are they essential in the modeling of buildings?
ANSWER: HVAC systemis one of the most important component in the modelling of a building. The term HVAC stands for HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING. Now in these terms, Heating is to increase the temperature of the input air which low into the building. Ventilation can be defined as the replacement of the air presents in inside of the room with new fresh air can also be input of fresh air and output of stale and bad air circulation. Air conditioning is a well known term which means that the cool air enter into the building. HVAC systems have become mandatory in these days as the technology is developed and everyone are used to comforts. With Proper HVAC Systems We can increase the sustainability and condition of the building environment. It also improves the comforts and workability of the environments. Mainly these HVAC systems are used at malls, offices and large clubs where the population is more. As the population is more amount of air will be required otherwise it lead to sufficicated. It may regarding their health, with the help of automatic HVAC system we can control the internal temperature very easily. If the outside environment temperature is more automatically the cooling system will on and moderates the temperature by allowing to fresh air more cooling. If the air temperature will be in room temperature is cold air inside the room temperature, the system activates the heating system or heaters, Which gradually increases the temperature and makes us feel comfortable. So HVAC systems are important and are essential to the modelling a building.

Q3) Use the add-ins tab to load plug-ins for robot structural analysis to your Revit software
ANSWER:
AIM To Use the add-ins tab to load plug-ins for robot structural analysis to your Revit software
PROCEDURE:
• First check whether the robot structural analysis is enabled or disabled.
• If not available we have to download it from auto desk store.
• Click on the trolley logo or shopping cart logo on the top of revit.
• The autodesk store opens, in the search box type structure analysis followed by the respective version of the revit software.
• Then download the tool
• The robot structural analysis will be reflected in our revit software
Q4) Why do we need to assess buildings analyze while modeling elements? Does design affect modeling in anyways?
Structural modellling is one of the most important components in the building. We cannot imagine or recognise the succesful building without a proper structure. The Structure framework acts as a skeleton work frame to the building. All the loads are being taken by the structural part. The architectural part of its role plays an important roleto appearance of building
Structural analysis is major role to a building to know the load can be the building bare and how long its strenght. Before the construction of the building we do not have all the components installed in the building like walls and other components. So before, we construct the building
we have to the analysis on taking apprpriate load values to calculate the load on the structure.
After the construction of the building the it might be the if have being any collapse are like that as it canot be hold the load, then will be a failure. We can calculate the total load, deflection, SFD and BMD. Structure analysis can also be the demo test or sample test to get a detailed strength of the structure. In building there have a many types of loads point loads, uniform load, area load and so on. In this analysis we can add the type of load we want assume the structure tot the load values to test our structure. It is Considered better if the structure holds more load than the load capacity calculated in the analysis. The design affects the model to place the colum at such as where they do not have much disturbances and at palces where it can be the maximum amount of load. So we can coclude that if necessary to do the structure analysis while modelling elements and we can say that the design affects modelling
5) From the structural model developed in week 6 and 7, export the complete analytical model to robot structural analysis a. List your assumptions on what boundary conditions will be realistic for the analysis approach b. Use the design standards to decide what loads must be applied to floorings based on the type of structure decided c. List the load combinations and include them in the analysis model d. Analyze the building and report the following results i. Maximum Moment in each floor for all Load Combinations ii. Maximum Displacement in each floor for all Load combinations iii. Lateral Displacement in building for all Lateral Load combinations e. After analysis, do you think you have a better approach or idea in modeling structural member
ANSWER:
AIM To export the complete analytical model to robot structural analysis.
A). List your assumptions on what boundary conditions will be realistic for the analysis approach. Boundary conditions are the conditions which satisfied to all part of a boundary region, where its differential conditions to be solved Seperately. For the analysis of the structure we have to supposed to be give the loads, if any loads have to assume to suitable amount o load for analysis. We have along the forces in any direction along XY or Z axix. And also assume the moments and equilibrium of the structure.
The parameters are required to been as loadal analysis:
Degree of freedom.
Supports.
Types of load
Opposing loads.
B). According to NBC, there are guide lines that are written for loading for different types of building based on geographical places like dead load, live load, earthquake loOad, live load etc.,
For my building, dead load, live load and wind load are suggested
c). Load combination: 1:1.25DL +1.5LL +1.75
WL Load combination: 1:1.25DL +1.5LL
E). After analysis, i think that the revit software is better aproach to anyother software for analysing the modeling structural members.
TOOLS ARE USED:
• Analyse tab.
• Boundary condition.
• Project browser.
• Analytical tab.
• Manage tab.
• Loads,
• Robot Structural analysis.
PROCEDURE
1. Open a structural template of week 7 model and open a 3D analytical view in the project browser.
2. Then, Click on Structural settings in manage tab.
3. In dialogue box appears, add load combinations.
4. Open analysis tab. Then click on boundary conditions and add type of condition needed (Add supports).
5. Then, click the Robot structural analysis and continue with loading on model and click on results for all the reactions and moments.
RERSULT: The Robot structural analysis is done.
Q6) What is energy analysis and why do we need to consider it while modeling in Revit?
How does the factor of sustainability improve the quality of your design?
Answer: Energy analysis is calculating the energy embedded and operational energy that will be used throughout the life cycle of building. Energy emboided the building are te energy sources which is actually while are used in constructed the building, For example it includes production of cement, concrete mix ratio, etc.,
Operational energy is the energy that is releasxed in environment while using appliances of building like lifts, Escalator, artificial lights, air conditioners, artificial ventilators, etc.,
That has the electric energy for running the essential elements to keep building functionality intact. Energy analysis of the build can be doneby reviut software to automated calculated by 3D energymodel view. This gives us more insight of the buildings and its functionality and its sustainable. Energy analysis is the most important factor which calculates the eesentially to the sustainalibilty of building and to even calclulate te information about how a much green house gas effects.
Factors of sustainabillity clearly shows how much global warming, we constitute by modelling a high energy leel of building. Once we consider by the problems with high energy buldings. We unconicilously look a better alternative for making building less enrgy building like green building.
As a responsible of civil ans structural engineer we must the have always try to a design a high sustainable model.
