GEOMETRIC CLEAN UP OF PLASTIC COMPONENT & MIDSURFACING OF INSTUMENT PANEL
OBJECTIVE: Generating an automatic midsurface & a manual midsurface for the given sheet metal component. MODEL-1: Geometric cleanup: The Geometric cleanup by auto cleanup option is done in order to get rid of unwanted cons & points. However, auto clean up is not efficient enough to clean the entire geometry. So in such case manual clean up has to be used. However, for cleaning up the entire geometry is subdivided in to 3 sub components: The manual geometrical error is corrected by deleting the erroneous surfaces & rebuilding the surfaces. MODEL-2: The entire steps followed for the model-1 is also followed for this model too. However, In this model automid option is used in order to get the midsurface fast. However, the auto midsurface generated has many geometrical errors.
