Aim :
Route the Given harness layout in Electrical workbench & Apply the Conditions.
Ojectives :
Procedure :
1st Connector of Harness B :

Electrical harness Assembly A :
Then Go to the electrical harness Assembly Define the product as an geometric bundle.
Then go the multibranchable point Route the bundles And suiatable break points with respect to the given Diagram.
Electrical harness Assembly B:
Then Go to the electrical harness Assembly Define the product as an geometric bundle.
Then go the multibranchable point Route the bundles And suiatable break points with respect to the given Diagram.
Connecting Electrically :
Intially We load the Harness A & B into the Electrical Assemby Workbench & Try To connect them but it wont connect Properly As shown in Above figure.
After Updating the components it Could be Connected Properly.
As shown in below figure.
Checking The Bundle Continuity :
By Clicking the Ctrl+F Key we go the pop up .
Then Go To The Advanced & Select the Electrical workbench & select the bundle segment on type & go to the attributes select the Fully Connected as shown on above figure.
Annotations :
I Tried To Give the Annotation To The connector Surface But It Cant Work, There is a Software Glitch in my lap, I Tried several things to reduce that runtime Exception error (Click Ok To terminate). Even I discussed with this problem on technical engineer on session especially only this issue i.e.., Catia is completely Closing while giving the annotation.
I tried So Many versions Of Catia (V5 17,18,19,20,21) on my lap but facing same issue.
Note : Trust me sir I Know the Process Of Giving Annotation.
As shown in given figure.
Apart From that remaining things are working Cool.
Generating CAT.part of harness Assembly :
In Edit We have an option to genarate cat.part, click ok & Save as the file in igs format.
Conclusion :
Sucessfully Routed the given harness layout in Electrical workbench as per given Condtions.
The Files Are Attached below in Zip format.(catalogue, cat, igs etc..,)

Week 9:- 2D Detailing Challenge
1.What are the drawing templates? Drawing Templates: If compared with the verbal or written description, drawing offers a far better idea about the shape, size & appearance of any object or simulation or location, that too in quite less time. Hence it has become the best media of communication not only in engineering but…
